After a long career in the fashion business and years of traveling abroad, I came to realize that one of the most important things about my traveling experiences was my photographs. The making of the photograph satisfied my artistic expression, while the actual image allowed me to relive the experience. Photography became my passion to capture moments in time, and then hold onto them forever. This was the start of a new career.
I began shooting weddings and special events over 8 years ago, and have photographed hundreds of events to date. I approach each event guided by my extensive background in fashion and design, and shoot in a natural photojournalistic style. I work with a team of newspaper photojournalists as my second photographer. We “dance” together through an event capturing “action and reaction” at the same time. Through the lens, we look for the slightest gestures, or the smallest details which define the essence of the day. With this method we are able to shoot both color and black/white film simultaneously on important moments, while shooting from two perspectives. Our goal is to quietly blend into the background and make photographs that tell a story- candidly, naturally, and artistically.
As a working fine art photographer, I specialize in hand painting archival black and white images with oil paints. This old technique makes photographs look timeless and very special. I have won several awards in area photography shows, as well as "best of show." With every wedding I hope to make you personal wedding art.
The band and the guests all have gone home. The only thing left to remember your wedding day... is your pictures!

We also offer an internet service to view your wedding pictures on-line, an opportunity for your friends and family to see the best picks of the day. If purchasing this service, it includes two photo CD’s - an 8 minute slide show to music of 100 pictures. Pop the CD in your pocket, take it to the office or to a friend’s house -it’s fun and convenient.
